The most difficult part of this assignment was to find enough resources to fill all of the links on symbaloo. Other than that part I thought this assignment was fairly easy. I believe symbaloo can be used in many ways in my future classroom. The main way I would use it would be to give the students the correct links to use on a certain assignment. The main problem I had with creating my quiz was creating questions that were interesting and challenging at the same time. I did not want to make my quiz too hard but I also wanted my students to think about the answers they choose. I thought this assignment was a great learning experience. I can see using symbaloo many times in my future classroom.

Mobile learning is learning that can be done outside of the classroom through the use of the internet on mobile devices. According to the article, 75% of the world have a mobile phone. Roughly 2.3 billion of those phones have access to the internet so teachers can reach students much easier outside of the classroom which makes mobile learning very important.
Podcasts are audio files that are simple to download and can be played on nearly any mobile device. They make learning much easier and more affordable. Teachers can send podcasts to their students to give a lecture or tell other information about the class.
They make learning from home much easier and they do not take up much time so distractions become less of an issue. Since students are more likely to retain information they hear rather than read, podcasts become a great advantage when taking a college course. Podcasts also provide a simple way for students to obtain class materials such as announcements or assignments. You do not have to stair at the screen the entire time the podcast plays. This is great at avoiding too much screen time and still learning in the class.
Some of the results educators have seen are students can watch the podcasts at home then work on their assignments in class when the teacher is available. This is a much better option than the teacher lecturing the entire class then the students doing their assignments at home on their own. This style also allows students to work at their own pace which is much more effective because not all students learn the same way.
If I began podcasting, then I would start with my smartphone. It would be very easy to create videos an send them wherever I needed them to go. I could also easily use the camera on my laptop to create podcasts. Using my phone would be my first choice though if I had to create a podcast.
